Your career as a journey

It’s crucial to realize the importance of your resume and how it tells your (hi)story to the world.  To those you’ve not yet met, your resume is the story of you.

There are countless formats and approaches to illustrating the facts, but most important of all is the realization that you only have one shot at a first impression.  Often in a stack of hundreds of applicants, many highly qualified applicants never leave the recycle pile.

I urge you to take a close look at your current market document.  A good test is to ask someone close to you (a colleague or a family member) to read your resume with a critical eye.  You may be very surprised at what they see.

Wishing you successes,
